What is a Verified Dealer?

The VERIFIED DEALER badge means that we have checked the documents showing that the dealer is legally authorised to buy and sell cars, is registered for tax and actually operates at the address shown on the site.

What do we check?

Authorisation Certificate

The "Second-Hand Motor Vehicle Trade Authorisation Certificate" issued by the Ministry of Trade. It shows that the dealer is legally allowed to buy and sell cars.

Tax Certificate

Current tax certificate. It shows that the business is registered and a taxpayer.

Dealership Address and Photo

A current photo showing the dealership's sign and cars. It shows that the dealer is physically located at the address on the site.

How do we check?

  1. The dealer uploads its documents. The authorisation certificate, tax certificate and a current photo of the dealership are sent to us through the panel.
  2. Our team reviews each document. We check that the business name and address on the documents match the dealer's details on the site, the validity date of the authorisation certificate and the sign in the photo. Missing or mismatched documents are rejected and the dealer is told why.
  3. The badge is granted once all documents are approved. The dealer page publicly shows which checks were made and the verification date.
  4. Renewed every year. Verification is valid for 12 months. When it expires, up-to-date documents are requested; the badge can be withdrawn after a complaint.

What does the badge mean?

  • The dealer holds the authorisation certificate required for car trading.
  • The business is a real business with a tax registration.
  • The dealer is physically located at the address shown on the site.
  • This information has been checked by us within the last 12 months.

What does the badge not mean?

  • It does not guarantee the technical condition of every car sold. Always check the inspection report before buying a car.
  • It does not indicate that prices are in line with the market.
  • It does not exempt you from the official procedures at the notary or from secure payment rules.

Frequently asked questions

Can the Verified Dealer badge be bought?

No. The badge only appears after our team has reviewed and approved each of the dealer's documents. A dealer with missing or incorrect documents cannot get the badge.

Is a car bought from a verified dealer guaranteed to be problem-free?

No. Verification concerns the dealer itself (legal authorisation, tax registration and physical address); it does not cover the technical condition of every car sold. Always check the inspection report and the insurance (Tramer) record before buying.

How long is the verification valid?

Verification is valid for 12 months. When it expires, the dealer is asked for up-to-date documents; if they are not renewed, the badge is removed automatically. The badge is also hidden when the dealer's membership ends.

What happens if I have a problem with a verified dealer?

Let us know. Complaints are reviewed; if the dealer's details turn out to be incorrect or it acted misleadingly, the Verified Dealer badge is withdrawn.

Are the documents public?

No. Documents uploaded by the dealer are kept confidential and are only viewed by our verification team. Visitors only see which checks were made and the verification date.
